About Black Creek Outfitters
Black Creek Outfitters, Inc. and it's affiliated company, Black Creek Guides, Inc. are headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Black Creek Outfitters, Inc.
originally started out as Windsurfing Orange Park, Inc. in December 1983 with an operation consisting of sailboard instruction and sales. In 1990 the shop expanded
into traditional outdoor specialty with and emphasis on kayaking, backpacking and climbing. The business expanded to a separate outdoor lakeside location in October
1997 and now includes a wide range of gear, apparel, footwear and accessories addressing year round outdoor activities and adventure travel.
While Black Creek stocks products from the best outdoor manufacturers and distributors, the difference at Black Creek is our knowledgeable staff. Our staff includes people who are doers and users of the products we sell. If you so desire, we can advise you of what you need based on when and where you are going, what you are going to do and the answers to a number of other questions which will help us frame the right recommendations for you. When we don't know the answer to a particular question or issue, we have a network of outdoor industry sources, friends and other customers' knowledge and experiences to fall back on.
When you leave Black Creek Outfitters we want you to understand how to use and take care of the items you have purchased. We want you to have confidence that what you have purchased will work for you and that your use of that item will enhance your activity and experience.
