Black Creek Outfitters 1st Annual Outdoor Gear Swap Extravaganza

What is it?
BCO’s 1st annual outdoor gear exchange. Bring in your used hiking, camping, and boating gear as well as winter clothing for men, women and kids to sell on a consignment basis.

When is it?

What can you bring in?
Items must be consistent with products BCO carries. All items must be clean and in good working condition and will be safety checked. BCO reserves the right to refuse any item for any reason.

Excluded items include: climbing equipment, camping fuel, helmets, car rack systems and accessories, socks, undergarments, kayaks and boats.

How can you participate?
Bring your gear to BCO during our normal business hours from now until November 14th. Set the price for your item. BCO staff will gladly help you figure out the best price for your item. If your item does not sell on Saturday you can choose to mark it down 25%. Markdowns must be set when you bring your items in to BCO. Once set prices are non-negotiable.

 Swap Rules

• Hard goods need to be in good working condition and clothes
  need to be clean and in good shape. Black Creek Outfitters has the right
  to refuse acceptance of any items, at its sole discretion.
  Excluded items include, but may not be limited to: climbing
  gear, car rack systems and accessories, climbing equipment,
  camping fuel, helmets, car rack systems and accessories, socks,
  undergarments, kayaks and boats.
  
• Once you have set the price on your item(s), you cannot
  change it during the swap. Once your item is in the swap it can not be
  removed until the swap is over.
• If you choose, you can designate any item(s) to be included in
  the “Red Tag Reduction Sale.” This means that any items with
  red logo tags that have not sold by the close of Swap, Satur-
  day, November 15th, will be discounted 20% off of the original price.
  That price will remain in effect through the end of the Swap.
  
• Do not call before 10 am on Monday, to see if your item
  has sold. NO swap credits or checks will be issued before that
  time.
  
• If your item(s) sell, you must present your claim check(s) and
  you can choose to be paid in either of two ways:
  a) Black Creek Outfitters store credit slip for 100% of the sale price
  b) A check for 75% of the sale price
  
• PLEASE NOTE: Black Creek Outfitters store credit is not valid on Swap
  items. It may only be used on Black Creek Outfitter’s merchandise.
  
• You must pick up the store credit slip or check by Friday,
  November 21st.
  
• Items that have not sold must be picked up by 7 pm, Tuesday,
  November 18, 2008. Items not picked up by that time will be
  donated to a charity of our choosing. If you choose, you may
  have your item(s) automatically donated if it does not sell.
  
• Black Creek Outfitters cannot be held responsible for lost,
  damaged or stolen merchandise, nor will Black Creek Outfitters provide
  compensation for such items.
